A giant spider beast - big black spider with yellow markings in a large web. I found this giant arachnid in Thailand as I walked on a jungle path up a mountain. This spider is big, black and yellow and moved slowly. Couple nice photos at: Thaipulse.com/blog too. Got another arachnid video - a small scorpion will post shortly here.
Hello, My name is Orry Martin: The Texas Snake Hunter. This documentary is about the Desert Kingsnake (Lampropeltis getula splendida). This snake is the mortal enemy of the Rattlesnake and they feed commonly on them. They are resistant to their venom and are very effective predators.
Cicada bug enjoys a walk around my grassy yard and taking a stroll up my arm.
My hound stumbled upon this snake. Had a hard time capturing video because my dog kep[t pulling toward it. Pulled me right into the yucca trees.
This video was uploaded from an Android phone.
A Diamondback Rattlesnake that came out of the palmetto scrub one day while we were out flying RC models in Central Florida near Orlando. We left it alone to go about its business of keeping the rodent population in check.

Pretends it's rear-end is a cobra head. Flattens tail and pokes up the red tip as if it's a cobra. Apparently this frightens some predators that know to stay away from Thailand cobras. Beautiful snake - black on top with alternative half-bands of black and white on the belly. Very cool to see up close. This is a juvenile snake, when it gets aa little older the white bands turn red. So it will be a black and red snake. I might keep this one a while until I can get video and photos of the color after it changes. This snake eats other smaller snakes like the Brahminy blind snake - see my videos on this channel of them. It eats fly larvae and worms. I put some meal worms in the soil - so hopefully he's eating that. There's a cricket in the tank, and unfortunately a little centipede. This snake is non-venomous and hasn't tried to bite at all in 3 handlings. The head is very small and it probably couldn't get a good grip on a human in too many places even if it wanted to.
