However, scorpians are in the Scorpiones Order and spiders are in the Araneae Order, both of which are distinct from the Solifugae Order of which these nasty 10-leggers belong. So in other words, no, these guys are not in the same Family as scorpions or spiders neither of which is claimed anywhere on this page.
