My daughter has a tea party with snakes, her idea. Support USARK. Snakes have been a part of my life and my families life for as long as I can remember. My mother tells a good story about the time I put a snake in my pocket and brought it home, i think I was five. The snake got loose; she freaked out and told me I could never have one again. I never lost the curiosity for these reptiles. Years later, after I graduated from high school in 1992, I went into a pet store and saw a ball python. I couldn't pass this up, I bought the snake. I have continued to have snakes and enjoy them daily. I couldn't imagine not having them. One of our favorite things we do is help snakes and any other reptiles cross the road, we live near alot of water ways and seem to find reptiles crossing frequently and we jump out and scurry them across. Be careful if you decide to do this, beware traffic. Snakes really do make great pets. Help stop the bad reputation of snakes and learn about them. We have four kids, two daughter and two sons, ranging from 6 to 16 years old and they all love them. My wife when we met feared snakes and now she loves them. I sometimes find her looking at breeder websites and saying, "Oh that one is pretty, I want it," usually its the most expensive snake you can find. Support the United States Association of ...
