This step is mainly to do with free range, free range time enbales your rats to bond with you, and also gives them plenty of excercise, you should try spend 30 mins to an hour per day with your rats. Make sure your rats have some water to drink whilst they are out of there cage :) Step 6 will be a little delayed, leo and leeroy have just had surgery and are not really up to anything new for the moment, the surgery was a neutering and they are both doing great :)

** PLEASE NOTE** the cage used in all of my step video's is only tempory :) the boys are in it untill they get neutred, and then they will be living in the big cage with the girls, thanks for any concerns though :) You may do this as step 1 if you wish, it doesnt matter too much which order you do the first 2 steps in :) Sorry for the re upload the video needed editing, thanks for watching :)

Many people overlook rats as pets. Most people find them disgusting. They are actually very clean rodents and they can make great pets! They are smart (I'd say smarter than most other rodents of this size), and they are easy to care for!
