6ft x 2ft x 2ft terrarium setup its amazing on how much i'm willing to spend on these guys but they are one of the greatest pets if i might say so myself.... bearded dragons ROCK!!!!!

My son has this pet spider he found on our front porch. We thought it died this weekend but it only to shed its skin and get even bigger!

Walking Stick

Here is a short video of one of my walking sticks. Full grown adults are as big as 4 inches. They are parthenogenetic so females can reproduce without a male and lay viable eggs. My latest batch of eggs are currently hatching, and I have had around 50 offspring in the past couple of months. Insect Watching – South Africa No.1: Termites (Isoptera)

I found the termites in Bloemfontein, South Africa in 19th July 2008. It was in mid-winter,and the temperature outside was about below 5C degree at night, and 15C degree in the daytime. I don't know their scientific name.

My wife, brother and I encountered this huge, very strange insect on my father's porch in Fredericksburg, Texas. It was almost midnight, and we'd had a few beers, but it turned out to be real anyway!
