Bitsy decides to go for a stroll outside her jar. I turned the camera away for a minute to see if I could show you the slings moving, but the quality was too crappy. Bitsy later kept tring to find a launching position to jump on my lens and gave up when her feet kept slipping. XD

Bitsy caught her bottle fly before Itsy got her's (itsy's the one that pounced in the video). Then Bitsy couldn't figure out how she was going to get her cargo up on her nest. XD Bites of Phidippus johnsoni are not generally harmful to humans unless you're very allergic to spiders. Never been bitten, but I imagine it's very itchy like a common sac spider.
make it through to the end of summer and I don't find a male by then, I'm thinking I might buy an inexpensive live specimen from Spider Pharm in Arizona.
