no one is afraid of hieghts. and the fact taht people who think they are afraid of hieghts can get on an airplane just proves my point. the only fear is the fear of death, which is perfectly natural for everyone. though some people are more afraid then others or do not deal with their fear in good way.
so if you are standing at the top of a 50 story building right on the edge looking down, it is natural to be somewaht scared because if you lose your balance you will die, which your survival instinct tells you is a bad thing.
You have two phobias . The fear of flying is a lack of trust into someone else ability to get you there , you lost control of the situation . You afraid that will crash the plane and you will die .
Fear of heights is not trusting yourself in your agility and movement . Afraid of falling form a ladder or crossing a bridge .
…I don’t care if you already know.
I’m telling you again anyways =D
They’re seperate
I don’t mind heights
But flying..
Aahh =|
Heh.
There’s another answer probably the same as every other one.
You’re welcome :]

They are two because someone can go on an airplane, but can’t stand hights while someone can stand heights, but not going on an airplane
you have two, I hate heights but really love flying, the take off and landing are great
They are different. Here are some definitions:
Acrophobia- Fear of heights.
Altophobia- Fear of heights.
Batophobia- Fear of heights or being close to high buildings.
Aviophobia or Aviatophobia- Fear of flying.
Pteromerhanophobia- Fear of flying.

i think maybe ur fear is of falling and not of heights
Different things. I’m a pilot and love my flying, but I can be reduced to a quivering jelly on a ladder.

they are two different fears. and phobias are hard to overcome. what seems like nothing to one person is a lot to another person
