This clip is from the history books way back in 2003. Jay Brewer, owner of Prehistoric Pets, narrates as he counts and prepares the clutch for incubation. This was the first ever Albino to Albino Reticulated breeding. This Lavendar female was hatched at our facility in 2000, just after Bob Clark's first in 1999.

I started mimicing Bitsy's threat display with the motion of my finger and she actually responded back and only fled when she knew I called her bluff. Very entertaining spiders. 6-7-09 Update : Bitsy's first brood are 1st Instars now and moving around. I'm still waiting for my new camera lens to get some shots of the slings. Itsy's eggs have hatched as well. I'm not %100 sure, but Bitsy's 2nd nest might've hatched - looks a little bit darker in there.. Good thing I bought 24 more vials today. I'm gonna be knee-high in new spiders. XD

You never know what visitors may come over. This little guy came to greet me the other morning. This is the first Rattlesnake I have ever encountered. I was able to scoop it up with a shovel and relocate outside of the yard.
