I have 6 of these ant piles on my land near my home, I have tryed eveything to kill them, some die but they just multiply, some even have wings, the more I kill them the more they grow into a bigger colony. I use to just have 1 colony but since I have been trying to kill them they have expanded to 6 huge colony's nothing works!!!

This is a very large spider that has made a huge funnel shapped web in the corner of my house. I've seen some big spiders in my day, but this thing is huge my temperate environment (I live outside of DC.) I'm feeding this big girl a 3/4'' cricket. She must be 3'' across. I have no idea what kind of spider she is.
