we got a new mantis as our old one died when it shed its name was sarah :(
This spider has been in our bedroom for three days, hiding out in the cracks and corners of the ceiling. I have a cracked up version of arachnophobia so of course I was obsessing about it. However, I've always had a rule: If it stays on the ceiling, it's fine by me. That's how I had a pet Black Widow (not the poisonous ones, but the ones with two legs too short or something lol). This one, however, decided to break the rules and hang up and down like a yo-yo for the morning and try to get into my roommate's clothes (piled on the floor lol). I was in the middle of attempting to kill it when it hung next to my roommate's head and he put a jar next to his head so that it went into the jar. We now have a pet spider this way, and I dubbed him Harry. ^_^ This is a great way to battle arachnophobia, playing with a spider in a glass jar XD

I think these are drywall termites. How did I see it? at first there was a tiny hole in the wall and a whole bunch of hard dark brown egg looking things on the floor by it. (it was dispersed). So I put tape over it. Then 3 months later I saw THAT. I tried spraying stuff on it and it didn't die. You can't really see it but theres two or more squished together right there. I have to call the termite people. idk.. this is my first encounter of termites
